How it works

Create events in two ways: on the website (full onboarding flow) or directly on WhatsApp by chatting with our bot. This page walks you through both journeys.

Getting started
01

Create your account

Go to the homepage and fill in your full name, phone number, email address, and password. After a quick security step, we send a 6-digit email verification code.

Verify your email

Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email. You can resend the code if needed. After verification, you continue into onboarding.

Choose what to create

Onboarding asks "What do you want to create?" — Create an event, a love message, a Valentine invite, or skip to dashboard.

Choose your creation mode

Create manually (pick event type → template → fill details) or Create with AI for a guided experience.

Choose a template

Browse a grid of free and premium templates with previews. Pick one and the flow advances to event details.

Fill in your event details

A multi-step form captures event-specific info (names, date, venue, URL slug). On save, your event, website, and detail records are created.

Create events by chatting on WhatsApp

Chat with Jitabi on WhatsApp (+254745345824). New users get signed up in-chat. Existing users link their WhatsApp. Describe your event, and Jitabi creates a draft with a default template. Get preview and publish links instantly.

Going live

Preview, set your URL, and publish

In your dashboard, the publish screen has Preview, Configure URL, and Publish tabs. Before publishing, the app checks readiness. Once published, your site is live at /e/<your-slug>.
